This 1992 Acura NSX spent two decades in Texas, and it was acquired by the seller on BaT in April 2024. Subsequent work included mounting 15″ and 16″ forged wheels with Yokohama tires, installing keyless entry, a Pioneer head unit, and Kicker speakers, and replacing the shocks, trunk, and rear hatch struts. The car is finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. The vehicle has a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and cruise control. This NSX is now offered with a spare set of wheels, spare parts, invoices, and a clean Alabama title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. A rearview camera has been installed, and additional exterior details include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller states the lower door seals were replaced and an S2000-sourced antenna was installed. Close-up photos of blemishes along the body can be seen in the gallery.
The 15″ and 16″ five-spoke forged wheels were mounted with 205/50 front and 225/50 rear mixed Yokohama tires under current ownership. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. The shocks were replaced in 2024 with used units that had 20k miles of use according to the seller.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, and the stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and NSX-branded floor mats. Noted work under current ownership involved servicing the air mix motor and installing LED interior lights, keyless entry, Kicker speakers, and a Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The trunk and rear hatch struts were replaced in 2024. A replacement left window regulator and upgraded pulley kit have been installed, and the factory right window regulator unit was upgraded with the same pulley kit.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline as well as a 188-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. A mileage inconsistency is listed in a January 2024 entry on the Carfax report. The seller believes that the instrument cluster was replaced in 2006 based on Texas inspection records shown in the gallery, which list the mileage as 109,508 in December 2004 and 116 in January 2006. Total mileage is unknown.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 252 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in January 2026. The seller notes the timing belt was last changed in 2001 and is due for replacement.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
A set of 16″ and 17″ aluminum wheels with Acura-branded center caps will accompany the car in addition to an assortment of spare parts including an oil pan gasket, windshield washer pump, passenger window regulator, drive belts, brake pads, hoses, caliper pistons, and 3M paint protection film.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned mileage inconsistency and notes that the car was registered in a county that was declared a flood disaster area by FEMA in September 2005.
