Seller Description

This 1992 Acura NSX is a black-over-black example that was optioned with a five-speed manual transaxle and has been fitted with a later-model exhaust system in addition to 16″ and 17″ wheels, and its transaxle case was replaced under prior ownership. Powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6, the car has a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, an aftermarket head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control, which utilizes R134a refrigerant. The seller acquired the car in 2022, and work under current ownership reportedly included replacing the shift knob, rear trunk struts, speedometer sensor, coolant overflow tank, and spark plugs. This NSX is now offered with the owner’s manual, spare keys, service records, spare parts, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Berlina Black with pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Damage to the left-front is noted in a February 2005 entry of the Carfax report, and the seller states that minor damage occurred to the left-front fender, which has been refinished as a result. Replacement rear trunk struts were fitted under current ownership, the antenna does not work, and the seller notes the windows operate slowly.

The 1995-specification 16” and 17” seven-spoke wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich g-Force Rival tires showing 2016 and 2017 date codes. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. According to the seller, the ABS pump intermittently emits a brief chirping noise.

The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in black leather and are joined by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. NSX-branded floor mats line the footwells, and interior amenities include cruise control, an aftermarket head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose sound system, and automatic climate control, which utilizes R134a refrigerant. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. A replacement speedometer sensor is said to have been fitted under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed and the water pump, valve cover gaskets, and front gaskets were replaced in 2017, and work under current ownership included changing the oil twice, replacing the spark plugs, and installing a replacement coolant overflow tank.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and the transaxle case and clutch were replaced in April 2007. A later-model exhaust system has been fitted, and the transaxle case was replaced in April 2007.

Removed parts from replacement, the owner’s manual, spare keys, and service records are also included in the sale along with a timing belt kit, oil filters, a water pump, a service manual, and a shop manual.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage.
