Seller Description

Doug's Take

The original NSX is hands-down one of the most important and iconic sports cars to ever come out of Japan, thanks to a high-revving V6, supercar styling, and excellent handling characteristics. This particular NSX is finished in Berlina Black, and it comes equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. Other benefits include a set of alloy wheels and an exhaust system from a later NA2 model, along with exclusive Florida registration since 2004. These first-generation NSX models are amazing cars, and I'm sure the next owner will thoroughly enjoy this one!

THIS... is a 1992 Acura NSX, finished in Berlina Black with a black interior.

  • This NSX is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, and its odometer currently indicates approximately 49,100 miles.
  • The attached Carfax history report indicates that this NSX has been registered in Florida since 2004.
  • Equipment includes pop-up headlights, a rear spoiler, leather upholstery, power-adjustable sport seats, air conditioning, and cruise control.
  • A partial list of modifications reported by the seller include a set of later-model wheels, a later-model exhaust system, a replacement transmission case, and a Sony head unit.
  • Sold as a Honda in global markets, the first-generation Acura NSX made its debut for 1991 as a user-friendly supercar with Ferrari-like performance and Japanese reliability. Aluminum construction kept weight in check, and the NSX stood out as the first production car equipped with titanium connecting rods. Production of the original NSX ended in 2005.
  • Power comes from a mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6, rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. This engine may be making slightly more power as a result of the exhaust modification, though a dyno sheet was not provided to confirm. Output is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission.
