This 1993 Acura NSX was acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2019 and subsequently was offered for sale on BaT in April 2020. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Formula Red over black leather. Equipment includes 17” and 18” split-spoke wheels, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a factory cassette stereo, and a Bose sound system. Work performed since April 2020 reportedly included the replacement of the dampers, CV joint boots, tires, and wheels along with the installation of lowering springs and an aftermarket exhaust. This NSX shows 62k miles is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a car cover, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Equipment includes tinted glass, pop-up HID headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Silver-finished 17” front and 18” rear Enkei Racing RPF1 wheels are wrapped in 215/40 front and 265/35 rear Dunlop Direzza ZIII tires that are said to have been installed in May 2020. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. Replacement CV joint boots, a left inner CV joint housing, Bilstein HD dampers, and TEIN S-Tech lowering springs were reportedly installed.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard as well as to the upper center console and door panel inserts. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a factory cassette stereo, and a Bose sound system. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 188-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The Valentine One radar detector is disconnected.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Work performed under current ownership reportedly included alternator repairs in August 2020, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. A ScienceofSpeed aftermarket exhaust system was installed under current ownership.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois.
