This 1996 Acura NSX-T has spent time in Florida, Oregon, and California through the owner’s purchase in 2023, and it is powered by a rebuilt 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery, the car has 17″ and 18″ Enkei wheels, an aftermarket exhaust system, a limited-slip differential, a removable body-color roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. Service completed in 2023 involved adjusting the valves, calibrating the fuel injectors, and installing a replacement clutch assembly in addition to replacing the brake master cylinder, thermostat, rear main seal, and camshaft plugs. This NSX-T shows 70k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a body-color removable roof panel. Exterior details include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A replacement front spoiler was installed, paintless dent removal was performed on the body, the front bumper cover and lower rear diffuser were refinished, and a ceramic coating was applied to the exterior in 2024.
The 17″ and 18″ Enkei wheels feature wheel spacers and were mounted with Falken tires under current ownership. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. A replacement brake master cylinder and stainless-steel brake lines were installed in November 2023, at which time the fluid was flushed. The seller states the wheels were balanced and an alignment was performed in January 2025.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather. NSX-branded floor mats line the footwells, and interior appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The interior upholstery was re-dyed in 2024. Creases are visible on the seats and wear is present on the driver’s door panel.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 70k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 was rebuilt in 2008 by AutoWave – Honda & Acura Auto Specialists in Huntington Beach, California, and the invoices are provided in the gallery below. Maintenance performed by AutoWave in April 2023 involved adjusting the valves and calibrating the fuel injectors in addition to replacing the thermostat, rear main seal, camshaft plugs, spark plugs, and air filters. The engine mounts, battery, and fuel filter were changed under current ownership. The car passed an emissions inspection in August 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket exhaust system has been fitted, and the exhaust mounting bracket has been repaired. The clutch assembly was replaced in April 2023.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
