Seller Description

QUICK SPECS: 3.0L, V6, 270hp, 5 speed manual transmission.  Acura-Bose OEM AM/FM/Cassette/CD (6 disc Acura changer mounted in trunk).  Chrome wheels with Nokian all season radial tires. (40,000 mile rating).  P/S, P/B, P/W & "ice cold" A/C!  All systems work in this car as intended.  No error lights.  Major Honda dealership within 1 mile of my Townhouse if inspection is desired.  Original clean title and Carfax on hand.

This car is in excellent shape. I will forward all results of Pre-Purchase Inspection upon request. I purchased it new May 22, 1995 from Acura of Maumee (Ohio). The car still has the ORIGINAL brakes (note: New Hawk HPS brake pads just installed on all 4 rotors. Rotors all checked out fine.), clutch, exhaust system, etc, etc, etc. New OEM timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and coolant every 100k miles. Next service is due at 395k miles. I have owned an Aerospace Machine Shop. Mechanical upkeep and low stress operation of all machinery is paramount to me.

This car "ferries" me to my 42' triple engine Baja (bought new 1990, sold 2013) in Grand Haven, MI and to my motorhome (bought new in 1998 and still own) just south of Traverse City, MI every weekend that weather allows. That is approximately 500 miles round trip of easy highway driving.

I've owned 2 1993 Acura NSX coupes (one an automatic transmission, the other a 5 speed manual). This NSX-T (Targa top) is vastly superior! This automobile is perhaps the best purchase of my life along with the 30' Class A motorhome as a very close second.

Don't let the mileage deter you. This is a "no excuse car". Text your info and let's take a test drive. Drives like a dream and still gets 29 mpg highway. Absolutely no oil burn! I change oil & filter every 5k miles with Mobil 1 Tri-Synthetic. Extrapolation suggests this is one of only 4,000 "clean title" NSXs left in the United States.

The only reason I'm contemplating selling this car is due to downsizing. Judy & I moved from a 4,000 sq. ft. lake home with a three stall garage to a 1,000 sq. ft. Townhouse with NO garage. I'm tired of paying indoor storage costs. Take a chance and give me a text, we'll discuss anything that is of importance to you.

This would be an excellent "experience" automobile for the right ($$$) individual. It is ready and capable for an immediate x-country journey. My hunch is that this car is in better condition than many of the so-called "low mileage editions". These cars do not like to sit for extended periods of time!

Thank-you for viewing this automobile.

A suggestion for interested buyers that may not be close to north-central Indiana: Hire a "buyer's agent" to come inspect this car. I will allow all photos, inspections and provide a test ride. This "buyer's agent" could be a nearby mechanic or dealership of your choice.

Dennis

Note: I've been receiving quite a few inquiries on what has been bid on my NSX so far. Here is a partial bid history: Multiple bids by multiple "well qualified" buyers in the $55,000 to $64,000 range. On the other end: A few "absolutely laughable" bids of $25,000 to $35,000 by the "bottom feeders".  I've had 2 full price bids in 2024 but both buyers wanted to use checks w/o a 7-10 business day authentication process. Come on buyers, step it up. This pampered car is worth it!

Absolute excellent high mileage "no excuse" car with clean title, clean CarFax and a pre-purchase inspection. All systems work as intended and absolutely nothing needs attention. Engine PSI and LEAKAGE are exceptional. 199 psi per cylinder is considered "new/nominal" per maintenance manual section 3, page 2. 0-10% leakage is considered "race engine quality".

Cyl.#1: 215 psi/8% leakage, Cyl.#2: 220psi/4% leakage, Cyl.#3: 220 psi/4% leakage, Cyl.#4: 195 psi/11% leakage (a bit of carbon on intake/exhaust valves), Cyl.#5: 210 psi/4% leakage and Cyl.#6: 220 psi/4% leakage.

100,000 mile service interval performed 25,000 miles ago.(75,000 miles remaining before plugs, water pump, timing belt, valve adjustment, etc are needed). New drive axles, air filter, wiper blades, maintenance free battery, Mobil 1 tri-syn and filter and all fluids changed recently. New brake pads have only 500 miles on them and have been properly "bedded". All suspension bushings, struts and related components are fine. 18 gallons new 93 octane gasoline and 1 quart of Sta-Bil have been put in October 2024.

The C30A engine never needs oil added between 5k oil changes.
