Seller Description

This 1999 Acura NSX is one of approximately four non-Zanardi hardtop coupes produced for the model year, of which it is reported to be the sole example specified in Spa Yellow Pearl. It is said to have been utilized as a press vehicle by Acura until 2002 and was purchased by the seller in 2019. Powered by a 3.2-liter DOHC V6 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, the car shows 67k miles and was optioned with Onyx leather upholstery, 16” and 17” aluminum wheels, a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX is now offered with the owner’s manual, partial service records, a Carfax report, and a Mississippi title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

Per the seller, the car was refinished in Spa Yellow Pearl and Berlina Black under current ownership, and a seller-supplied description of the repaint process is provided in the gallery. Exterior details include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The car was involved in an accident that resulted in damage to the right-rear quarter panel and rear bumper cover during its time as a press vehicle, per the seller. The front lip, trunk and engine cover struts, and taillight gaskets were replaced, the window regulators were rebuilt in May 2022, and touch-up paint has been applied to the body. Multiple entries in the Carfax report list issuances of salvage and rebuilt titles from 2002 through 2018.

The 16” and 17” seven-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with Continental tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. Replacement brake pads, rear tires, and brake rotors were fitted in 2022, the front tires were replaced in May 2026, and the steering rack was rebuilt in July 2026.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Onyx leather, and interior appointments include NSX-branded floor mats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The shift knob was replaced in May 2022.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 67k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter C32B V6 features dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank and utilizes VTEC variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed, the valve covers were refinished, and the water pump, thermostat, and coolant expansion tank were replaced in May 2022. Work in May 2026 included flushing the brake and clutch fluids in addition to replacing the battery and ignition coil packs.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows several issuances of salvage and rebuilt titles from 2002 through 2018.
