This 1991 Acura NSX has remained registered in Washington since new and was purchased in 2004 by the current owner, who has since added ~13k of its 46k miles shown. Powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car is finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes staggered-diameter 16” and 17” aluminum wheels, a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with service records, a Carfax report, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller relays that an incident occurred under prior ownership in 2004 with resulting damage to the front portion of the underside, which was subsequently repaired, adding that they were not provided with additional information about the incident. The Carfax report lists the issuance of junk and rebuilt titles beginning in June 2004. The windshield has been replaced, and close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The staggered-diameter 16” and 17” seven-spoke aluminum wheels were fitted in 2021 and are mounted with Falcon tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. The brake fluid was changed in 2026.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, and interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo linked to a six-disc CD changer. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 46k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in May 2026. Records indicate that the car has received yearly maintenance at Acura of Seattle throughout current ownership, and service invoices are included in the sale. A video inspection of the undercarriage during a 2026 service appointment is provided below.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1003744 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls inside the snap ring failure range.
The Carfax report lists junk and salvage title issuances beginning in June 2004.
