This 1991 Acura NSX spent time in California, Washington State, and Arizona before the seller’s acquisition on BaT in July 2023, and it now shows 54k miles. It is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Formula Red over black leather. The car is equipped with chrome-finished 15″ and 16″ forged wheels, a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, a remote CD changer, and a Bose sound system. This NSX is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a Florida title.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, NSX-branded floor mats, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo linked to a remote CD changer. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The air conditioning system was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant in 2020. The stereo was modified with a Bluetooth module under previous ownership, and the amplifier and door speakers were repaired in December 2022.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A Science of Speed coolant expansion tank, radiator shroud, and oil pressure sensor were installed under previous ownership. Service in 2018 included replacing the timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gaskets. The oil pan gasket was replaced in March 2023, and an oil change was performed in November 2023.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1001246 can be seen in the previous listing, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap-ring failure range.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage from the first entry in December 1992. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
