Seller Description

This 1996 Acura NSX-T is finished in Formula Red over tan leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. It has been modified with staggered-diameter Advan Racing wheels, TEIN coilovers, a Pride exhaust system, and carbon-fiber body panels, and additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a removable body-color roof panel, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system. The seller acquired the car in 2019 and has since added approximately 2k of the 78k miles shown. This NSX-T is offered with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a body-color removable roof panel. It has been fitted with Wings West side skirts, a carbon-fiber rear valance, an aftermarket antenna, and a Seibon carbon-fiber front splitter that the seller notes is attached with Velcro and bolt hardware. Additional details include pop-up headlights that have been converted to HID, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, and power-adjustable side mirrors. Noted flaws consist of paint chips on the right fender and scuffs on the front bumper cover.

The 17″ and 18″ Advan Racing wheels are mounted with Yokohama front and Firestone rear tires, the latter of which were mounted in May 2024. The suspension has been modified with TEIN coilovers, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. A Science of Speed NA2 NSX ABS conversion kit was installed in December 2023, and an invoice from May 2024 notes the master cylinder cap switch is nonfunctional.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in tan leather. A weighted shift knob has been fitted, and interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The seller reports the speakers emit popping noises when the volume is adjusted.

The steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. An UltraGauge OBDII scanner is housed in the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Fluid residue is noted on engine components.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Pride cat-back exhaust system has been added, and the transaxle fluid was changed in May 2024.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
