This 1998 Acura NSX-T is a Spa Yellow Pearl-finished example that shows 37k miles and has remained registered in California through the seller’s acquisition in 2022. Powered by a 3.2-liter VTEC V6 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, the car has Onyx leather upholstery, 16″ and 17″ seven-spoke wheels, a limited-slip differential, a removable body-color roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, a Bluetooth adapter, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. Work in November 2023 reportedly consisted of rebuilding the steering rack in addition to replacing the battery, left-side axle seal, and tie rod ends. This NSX-T is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a battery tender, a factory NSX-branded car cover, a set of Volk Racing wheels, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Spa Yellow Pearl with a body-color removable roof panel. Exterior details include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The front bumper cover, left door, and left-rear quarter panel are said to have received paintwork under prior ownership, and paint protection film has been applied to portions of the body. The 16″ and 17″ seven-spoke wheels are mounted with 215/45 front and 245/40 rear Falken Azenis tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. Replacement tie rod ends were installed in November 2023, at which time the steering rack was rebuilt, per the seller. A set of Volk Racing TE37SL wheels wrapped in 215/40r17 and 265/35r18 Yokohama ADVAN Neova tires is included in the sale.
The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in Onyx leather and are joined by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. NSX-branded floor mats line the footwells, and interior appointments include automatic climate control, a Clifford alarm system, a Bluetooth adapter, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The seller states noise from the stereo and the remote CD changer has been disconnected. The rear trunk struts need to be replaced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed and the battery was replaced in November 2023, and the car passed an emissions inspection in February 2024.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The left axle seal was replaced in November 2023, and additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the new owner.
