This 1992 Acura NSX is one of 238 examples finished in Grand Prix White over black leather for the model year, and it has been modified with KW coilovers with an air cup lift system, 18″ BBS wheels, Comptech headers, a Gruppe M exhaust system, and a StopTech big brake kit. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, a carbon fiber rear wing, a Mugen steering wheel, a Pioneer touchscreen head unit, a JDM-style navigation pod with a Nexus tablet, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The car has been registered in Washington, Oregon, and California and was acquired by the seller in 2018. This NSX shows 81k miles and is now offered with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Grand Prix White with a black roof panel and pillars. A Pride NSX-R-style carbon fiber rear wing and a stubby antenna have been installed, and the car was previously fitted with a face-lifted front end with fixed headlights. The seller notes scratches on the front lip and states that the front and rear view cameras are inoperative.
The 18″ BBS LM wheels are mounted with Yokohama tires measuring 215/35 up front and 265/35 out back. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars. KW coilovers with an air cup lift system have been installed along with a StopTech big brake kit and titanium front and rear chassis bars.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, and the dash houses a JDM-style Navpod with an integrated Nexus 7 tablet as well as a Pioneer touchscreen head unit and USB and 12V charging ports. The seller notes that various interior pieces have been reupholstered, and additional equipment includes an SOS short shifter with a Type-S-style knob, an NSX-R-style shift boot, and a microsuede-trimmed emergency brake handle.
The microsuede-wrapped Mugen steering wheel is mounted on an NSX-R-style hub and frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A Gruppe M carbon kevlar intake, Comptech headers, and a Gruppe M exhaust system have been installed. The seller states the timing belt and water pump were replaced around 75k miles.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle fell within snap ring failure range and was rebuilt in 2016, including replacement of the case and snap ring, as well as the synchros, bearings, and sleeves. The seller states that shorter gears have been installed along with a 4.23:1 final drive gear set.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Washington, Oregon, and California. The California title is listed as a duplicate, and the registration expired in November 2023.
The seller states that the car cannot pass a California emissions test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
