According to NSX Prime (see photo of Miscellaneous notes), "The first 1991 NSX available for sale in the USA had serial number 000063; all lower numbers were pre-production prototypes." This auction is for that NSX as evidenced by the photo of the VIN and door sill plate. Also according to NSX Prime (see photo of Which Cars Are Affected), this NSX has a transmission S/N which is not in the range of suspect serial numbers for the snap ring failure issue as shown by the photo of the transmission S/N. I acquired this NSX in November 1998 with an indicated 54,701 miles. The car had been repainted in the original red to make the roof match the body. I bought the NSX with the 7 spoke Bugatti wheels made by BBS. The NSX remains otherwise stock with the exception of the ratio which has been upgraded by Willman's Electronics with features such as Bluetooth, Alexa and an external microphone for hands free calling, but retains the stock appearance. Since I purchased this NSX, it has been meticulously maintained by the same NSX certified mechanic since 2002, with service records to prove it. A new clutch and timing belt was installed at 99K and 102K miles, respectively. The CARFAX Report shows no accidents, but I must admit to backing the car up into a parked car which required the rear bumper cover to me refurbished and repainted. Imperfections are shown on the last 3 photos. One is a scratch above the right rear tire. Another shows the clear coat de-laminating around the left windshield washer sprayer. The third is a hole in the foam padding where the leather is worn away on the left side bolster of the driver's seat.
