Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes 17″ Club Linea wheels, a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a cassette stereo, carbon-fiber-look trim, and a Bose sound system. The car spent time in Florida and California through the current owner’s acquisition in 2006. This NSX is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean California title in the name of the owner’s business.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A scratch is noted on the passenger door, fading in the finish is visible on one windshield wiper arm.

Chrome 17″ Club Linea wheels are mounted with staggered-width Yokohama S Drive tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. Curb damage is noted on the right-front wheel.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, which extends to the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Acura-branded floor mats line the footwells, and interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, carbon-fiber-look trim, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. Wear is visible on the seats. The seller notes there is a six-disc CD changer in the trunk that is connected to the stereo unit in the cabin.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 9k of which were added under current ownership. A potential odometer rollback is listed on a January 2005 entry of the Carfax report, and total mileage is unknown.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in August 2022.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The seller notes a transaxle serial number of J4A4-1003898, which indicates that the unit falls inside the snap ring failure range.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned potential odometer rollback in January 2005 and lists history in Florida and California. The car passed an emissions inspection in August 2022.
