Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX has remained registered in California since being purchased new by the seller at Acura 101 West of Calabasas, California, and now shows 46k miles. It is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ forged wheels, a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX is now offered with the initial sale documentation, factory literature, service records, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The front bumper cover has reportedly been repainted.

Staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ five-spoke forged wheels are mounted with Falken Ziex ZE912 tires showing 2010 date codes and measuring 205/50 up front and 225/50 at the rear. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. Curb damage is visible on the wheels. A replacement brake master cylinder was reportedly fitted in 2019.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, which extends to the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. Wrinkling in the finish is visible on the center stack, while wear is visible on the left door panel inserts, driver’s seat, and center armrest. The stereo system has reportedly been repaired and the seller notes the cassette deck does not work.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 46k miles, all of which were added during current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale, and the car passed an emissions inspection in February 2022. The seller notes the timing belt was replaced in 2016.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A replacement clutch is said to have been fitted in 2020.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California from the initial entry in January 1994. The car was listed as a designated gross polluter in June 2020.
