Seller Description

This 1995 Acura NSX is a restomod with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.

Vehicle Details
First let me say I am a huge fan of these cars. I currently own 2 NA1 NSX’s (counting this one) and an NC1 NSX. This car came out of Arizona and was a 1 owner vehicle when I purchased it from the dealer who secured it from the original owner. My goal with this car from day one was to massage it just a bit past stock but not take it so far as to cause any issues with its daily driver “Honda Reliability.”

This is a 1995 Acura NSX Targa that came from the factory in Brooklands Green with a Tan Leather interior. This is 1 of 61 made in this color combination in 1995 and 1 of 210 in total (AT and MT transmissions) over the 3 years this color was offered. The car has an original 56,960 miles and has had all of the work done to it within this last year.

The car went from the dealership where it was purchased to Jonathon D at Acura Pembroke Pines and Acura Honda Classic Channel to have anything that needed to be done to the car mechanically to make it as bulletproof as it was the day it rolled off the assembly line. In the initial service at 56,652 miles we had the following completed:

Replaced Fuel Filter

Replaced Passenger Side Axle Boots

Replaced Trunk Struts

Replaced Brake fluids

Performed Clutch Fluid Flush (it was indicated here that we would need to change the clutch as it did have some slipping)

Lube, Oil and Filter Change

Engine Timing Belt Replaced

Water Pump Replaced

Drive Belts Replaced

Valve Cover Gaskets Replaced

Spark Plug Seals Replaced

Camshaft End Plugs Replaced

Full Coolant Service

Set Ignition Timing and Check Valve Clearance

VTEC Solenoid Seals Replaced

Clutch was replaced at 56,672 with a Science of Speed Sport 275 Clutch along with a full Pride Exhaust system; Headers, High Flow Cats and Performance exhaust.

Once we had the mechanical items out of the way we set about refining the wheel and tire combination, the interior and the technology package. The car is riding on a custom 18/17 staggered set of BC Forged RZ22’s measuring 17x8 with a +45 offset in the front and 18x10 with a +38 offset in the rear. Falken Azenis RT660 tires on all 4 corners, less than 50 miles on them. The car has been lowered on BC Racing Coilovers that are set for a smooth yet sporty ride, one that you can easily take your wife or girlfriend out in without shaking them to death.

The car has also been upgraded with a Mita NSX Short Antenna Conversion kit, a full left and right Davis Design Fab Coil guard set, a Hybrid Racing Maxim Shift boot collar and knob, and a Pride Carbon Front Lip.

The interior was handled by the amazing crew at E3 Custom Upholstery in Pompano Beach Florida who performed the following:

Reupholster Driver and Passenger seats in Bomber Tan Leather (BTL)

Emerald Green NSX Stitched into backrest

Reupholster Door panel inserts in BTL

2 piece center console in BTL

Driver and passenger door Sill pad in BTL

Reupholster steering wheel in Black and perforated black leather

Reweb of seatbelts in Forest Green

Shift boot redone in Jet Black Alcantara

Wrap Center console in Jet Black Alcantara

The stereo which had some problems was replaced with a Dual Din Pioneer head unit with full Bluetooth and streaming capabilities. The unit is mated to the original power amps and speakers in the car which were tested and found to be in perfect working order. The car has also received a full paint correction and ceramic coating. I do want to caution any potential buyer that this is a driven car, it is NOT a show car. There are rock chips and a few scratches, a chip in the windshield and a scrape on the rear quarter passenger side that looks as though it was repaired a long time ago. If you wanted to show the car I’d suggest getting those area redone. However if you want to drive and really enjoy the car and not worry about a rock chip or two then this is perfect the way she sits.

The original set of wheels and tires, original Trunk CD unit, original head unit and shift knob can be included in the sale if you so desire.

This car is extremely fun to drive, and a major headturner. If you stop anywhere in it be prepared to have multiple conversations about the car.
