We are proud to offer this 2005 Acura NSX-T finished in New Formula Red over a Black leather interior. One of the most advanced and innovative sports cars of its day, the NSX was designed and hand-assembled at the Honda Global Research and Development Center in Tochigi, Japan. This 6-speed NA2 version is one of 248 examples sold in the U.S. for the final model year, and only 20 in this particular color combination. It was originally sold in Indiana and has resided in California since 2006. Featuring a Comptech supercharger, full Comptech exhaust system, and 18” SSR GT3 three-piece wheels, this final-year NSX-T is now being offered for auction showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer.
This NSX-T comes finished in New Formula Red (R-510) with a matching removal aluminum roof panel, an integrated rear spoiler, and gold brake calipers with NSX markings. The NA2 version of the NSX was updated with fixed projector headlamps, new taillights, a redesigned spoiler, and lower rear valence paired with a set of revised side skirts. This example rides on aftermarket 18” SSR GT3 three-piece wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2015. The interior is trimmed in Black leather with a perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, blue-faced instrumentation, and NSX door sill guards featuring the individual chassis number. Amenities include automatic climate control, a remote keyless entry system, a 4-speaker Bose sound system with AM/FM cassette radio, and a trunk-mounted 6-CD changer.
The NA2 NSX is powered by a 3.2L V6 featuring an aluminum engine block, V-TEC variable valve timing, titanium connecting rods, and a forged steel crankshaft. This NSX has been further upgraded with a Comptech supercharger system and full Comptech exhaust system, which is claimed to provide as much as 395 HP and 261 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission and a torque-reactive limited-slip differential. The owner states all routine maintenance has been kept up to date by Pleasanton Acura in California for the past 13 years.
