This 1998 Acura NSX-T is finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery and powered by a 3.2-liter V6 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a Torsen limited-slip differential, a body-colored removable roof panel, 16″ and 17″ wheels, automatic climate control, and a Bose cassette stereo. The car was sold new in Washington State and moved to California in 1999 with its original owner, who kept it there for two decades before it was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2021. This NA2 NSX shows 21k miles and is offered in Texas with manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, the original sales invoice, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is one of 55 examples produced in Formula Red (R-77) for the 1998 model year and features a matching removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, and an integrated rear wing. The selling dealer notes of scuffs on the front lip spoiler and close up photos of clear coat peeling on the front bumper cover can be seen in the gallery.
Staggered 16″ and 17″ wheels are mounted with Kumho Ecsta XS tires that measure 215/45 up front and 245/40 in the rear. Curb rash is visible on several wheels, and the tires wear a mix of 2015 and 2013 date codes.
The cockpit features contoured sport seats with black leather upholstery that extends to the console, dashboard, and door panel inserts. Amenities include power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose cassette stereo.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel, oil pressure, and voltage. The mechanical odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 50 of which have been added by the selling dealer.
The 3.2-liter C32B V6 utilizes VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 255 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a Torsen limited-slip differential.
Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists a single owner in Washington and California prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition.
