Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX was first registered in New Jersey in 1990 and reportedly resided in Japan from the early 1990s until 2009, when the seller purchased it and imported it to Saskatchewan, Canada. It is finished in red over a black and red leather interior and is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Modifications include red interior accents, red leather seat inserts, a MOMO steering wheel, custom lower rocker extensions, 17″ BBS wheels, an aftermarket exhaust system with quad outlets, and a Pioneer DVD stereo. Additional equipment includes power-adjustable bucket seats, automatic climate control, power windows, and cruise control. This NSX is now offered with import documentation and Saskatchewan registration in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in red and features a color-matched fixed roof, front and rear spoilers, pop-up headlights, and an aftermarket body kit with additional lower quarter panel vents and rocker panel extensions. The seller notes that the left-front fender has been repainted.

17″ BBS forged alloy wheels are wrapped in 245/40 Bridgestone Potenza tires. Equipment includes four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with gold-painted factory calipers.

Originally trimmed in black leather, the interior was modified during the seller’s ownership with red leather inserts on the power-operated bucket seats, red bezels on the center stack and shifter console, a MOMO steering wheel, a chrome shift knob, a Pioneer DVD player and stereo unit, and Focal speakers.

Factory instrumentation consists of a 9k-rpm tachometer, a 185-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and battery voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 4k of which were added by the seller since 2009. The Carfax report shows that a “not actual mileage” title was issued in New Jersey in 1990, and does not show any subsequent mileage readings. True mileage is unknown.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque when new. Factory equipment includes titanium connecting rods and dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank. An oil change was performed by Meidl Honda of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in June 2020. A timing belt service was performed in March 2009, and a carbon-fiber engine cover is fitted.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket stainless exhaust system with quad outlets was fitted during previous ownership. A photo of transaxle serial number J4A3-1002364 is shown in the gallery, indicating that the gearbox falls outside the range of transaxles affected by snap ring issues.

The Carfax report shows that a “not actual mileage” title was issued in New Jersey in 1990, and lists registration history in Saskatchewan, Canada since 2009. An open seat belt recall is noted from 1995.
