This 1991 Acura NSX is finished in Berlina Black over Ivory leather and powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was first sold at Kenneth Adkins Inc. in Ocala, Florida and remained registered in the state until it was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2019. Maintenance has reportedly included a timing belt and water pump replacement in June 2009 as well as additional service in 2018. This NSX shows 36k miles and is offered with a window sticker, manuals, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The first-year NSX was offered in three colors, including Berlina Black as seen on this example. Close-up views of the finish, lighting, and glass can be seen in gallery photographs below. A dark tint has been added to the side and rear windows.
Aftermarket chrome wheels measuring 17″ up front and 18″ out back wear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires with 2016 date codes. A set of factory 15″ and 16″ staggered-width wheels will also accompany the car.
Ivory leather upholstery covering the four-way power seats is contrasted by black leather trim on the dash, steering wheel, shifter, handbrake lever, and door panels. Factory equipment includes power-adjustable sideview mirrors, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system.
The mechanical odometer indicates just under 36k miles, approximately 50 of which were added by the seller during six months of ownership. The air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant in 2001.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter C30A V6 is mated to a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The engine features VTEC variable valve timing, and factory-rated output was 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque when new.
Records show that the timing belt, water pump, accessory belts, and head cover gaskets were replaced at Germain Acura in Naples, Florida fewer than 6k miles ago in June 2009. The seller notes the car was also serviced in 2018 and again in May 2019.
Service records are included in the sale along with two keys, the original window sticker, and factory literature.
The August 2019 Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and shows history in Florida and Pennsylvania through April 2019.
