For sale is my wonderful 1999 NSX. This is the NA2 with the 6-speed and larger 3.2L engine. It has 79,800 original miles. This has been my third NSX and a real treat to own but the time has come to pass it on. Runs and drives perfectly, shifts are butter smooth, everything works. Clean title. The interior is also in very good condition with minimal wear. There are no rips or holes or cracks anywhere. The original dash is all intact. The metal body work is almost perfect, there is a couple of paint chips and some light scratches but otherwise the metalwork and paint is in excellent condition. The plastic front and rear bumper covers do show some wear. There is a 1.25" deep scratch on the front bumper near the Acura logo (see photo). On the front bumper there is also what looks like a bird poop that left a mark the size of a dime. The rear bumper has some scuffs and scratches. The paint all seems to be original and paint depth meter confirms this. The rear tires need to be replaced but I will leave this to the new owner to make their own choice. Currently installed is Kumho Ecsta XS tires. The original wheels are the more rare gun metal grey finish with some curb rash.
Everything works on the car with the exception of the power antenna which stopped going up. I did wire a flexible antenna under the carpet in the trunk and that works fine. AC is cold, heat is hot, climate controls works perfect, original Bose stereo works fine and there is a 6-disc changer in the trunk that works well. Spare tire, jack, pump are all there.
It is mostly stock with just a few light modifications that are noted below. Only 12k miles on new timing belt, 4k miles on new clutch. The rear tires need to be replaced and the fronts are at about 50%. Just prior to this listing (March 2018) I had the local bay area NSX experts "Hill Top Auto" in Daly City look over the car. They suggested replacing many of the oil seals which I did. There was also a squeak from the belt tensioner which they replaced. This was a $2000 bill but I wanted the car to be tip top before selling. They commented that I might consider replacing the oil pan seal in the future.
Modifications:
- Bilstein shocks with Tein springs (I have stock struts) 10% more firm than stock and only a 0.5" drop.
- Science of Speed Sport 275 Clutch and Flywheel (I have worn stock unit)
- Comptech cat-back exhaust (I have stock unit with non stock tips)
- HID headlight conversion
- Shift Knob (have stock knob)
- Lightweight battery
- H&R wheel spacers front and rear

69,899: (2014) Front pads and rotors, AC head unit Repaired by BrianK, thermostat replaced

I previously owned a 1991 then a 1993 and always wanted the later model with 6-speed and bigger engine. After waiting and searching for several year I found this 1999. I have to say that the step up from the 5-speed/3.0L is well worth it. The gearing in particular is just much better since the engine revs up much faster in 1st and 2nd. Contact me to see the car or if there is more specific photos you would like to see. Although I do have a best offer option, I am not in a rush to sell and won't take much below the asking price. Thanks for looking!
