This 1991 Acura NSX was optioned with a five-speed manual transaxle, and it shows 72k miles through the current owner’s purchase in 2016. Powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6, the car is further equipped with Formula Red paintwork, black leather upholstery, staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ forged wheels, a black roof panel and pillars, a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX is now offered on dealer consignment with a car cover, a Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. Damage to the left-front, front, left-rear, and rear sections of the body is listed in an October 2016 entry of the Carfax report, and the seller states the car received bodywork as a result.
Staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ five-spoke forged wheels are mounted with Nitto front and Pirelli rear tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, and interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, NSX-branded floor mats, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The driver’s seat is worn, and the dashboard is cracked.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1000479 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range. An oil change was performed in August 2025, at which time the transaxle fluid and valve cover gaskets were replaced.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage.
