This 1996 Acura NSX-T is one of approximately 20 US-market examples specified in Midnight Pearl over tan leather for the model year, and it has remained registered in Texas through the seller’s acquisition in 2017. The car’s five-speed manual transaxle was subsequently fitted with a Japanese-market specification gearset and a replacement clutch kit, and the 3.0-liter VTEC V6 received a timing belt service in December 2025. The vehicle has also been modified with a Pride exhaust system, BC Racing coilovers, and an aftermarket head unit, and additional equipment includes 16″ and 17″ aluminum wheels, a limited-slip differential, a removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX-T shows 138k miles and is offered with service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Midnight Pearl with a body-color removable roof panel. Features include pop-up headlights that have been altered with HID bulbs as well as an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller states the front and rear bumper covers have been refinished, the fender tabs have been cut, and there is evidence of paintwork on the right side fender, door, and quarter panel. The seller reports the ride height has been lowered with BC Racing coilovers with Swift springs, and an NC Auto front chassis bar and Carbon 6 Composites front tie rods are additional modifications. The 16” and 17” seven-spoke aluminum wheels are mounted with Falken Azenis RT660+ tires measuring 215/45 up front and 245/40 out back. Braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.
The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in tan leather, and the stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. A JDM-specification display surround with an aftermarket head unit was added, and further interior details include a car phone, an air freshener, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The CD changer is inoperative.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline as well as a 188-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 138k miles, approximately 20k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter VTEC V6 has been modified with an aftermarket air intake scoop, and it was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque, which is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle was fitted with a JDM-specification gearset as well as a replacement clutch kit and hydraulic cylinders in 2019, and the rear main seal was replaced at that time. The oil pan gasket and fuel filter were replaced in 2022, and service in December 2025 included replacing the timing belt, water pump, and air conditioning compressor.
