Doug's Take
The NA2 Acura NSX is a legendary Japanese sports car that boasts exotic styling, excellent balance, and a glorious soundtrack from its mid-mounted 3.2-liter V6. This particular NSX-T belongs to my good friend Matt Farah, and it's just about as nice as they come: it features a 6-speed manual transmission, and it shows just 20,500 miles on the odometer! It also touts some great factory equipment, including 17-inch forged wheels, a limited-slip differential, and a removable roof panel – along with several tasteful upgrades like a Comptech exhaust and Bilstein shocks. This NSX also comes with a clean, accident-free Carfax report, for added peace of mind. If you're in the market for a great NSX, this looks like the one to get.
Highlights
THIS… is a 2005 Acura NSX-T, finished in Silverstone Metallic with an Onyx interior.
- This NSX-T is owned by automotive journalist Matt Farah of The Smoking Tire. It's equipped with the desirable 6-speed manual transmission, and the odometer currently displays approximately 20,500 miles.
- The attached Carfax vehicle history report shows no accidents or mileage discrepancies in this NSX’s past.

- Sold as a Honda in global markets, the first-generation Acura NSX made its debut for 1991 as a user-friendly supercar with Ferrari-like performance and Japanese reliability. Aluminum construction kept weight in check, and the NSX stood out as the first production car equipped with titanium connecting rods. The original NSX went through several updates until production ended in 2005.
- A facelift for the 2002 model year brought revised front and rear fascias and did away with the pop-up headlights from earlier models in favor of fixed xenon HID units. Other changes included larger wheels and a revised suspension.
- Power comes from a 3.2-liter V6, rated at 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.
