Seller Description

Doug's Take

The original NSX is an iconic Japanese sports car that boasts a high-revving, mid-mounted V6, fantastic handling, and exotic styling that's aged incredibly well. This particular example is a Japanese-market Honda NSX from its first model year. It's finished in a handsome shade of blue and boasts some eye-catching modifications – including a body kit, an aftermarket exhaust, a carbon fiber engine cover, and custom upholstery. Plus, this NSX comes with a U.S. title, so the difficult task on importing it has already been completed.

Highlights

THIS... is a 1990 Honda NSX, finished in blue with a black and orange interior.

  • This NSX is a right-hand-drive, Japanese-market coupe that's titled in Oregon. It's equipped with a metric instrument cluster and its odometer displays about 130,500 kilometers, which represents approximately 81,100 miles.
  • Notable modifications reported by the selling dealer include an aftermarket coolant overflow tank, an aftermarket exhaust, a carbon fiber engine cover, 17-inch front and 18-inch rear ASA wheels, an aftermarket body kit, and aftermarket upholstery.
  • Sold as a Honda in global markets, the first-generation Acura NSX made its global debut in 1990 as a user-friendly supercar with Ferrari-like performance and Japanese reliability. Aluminum construction kept weight in check, and the NSX stood out as the first production car equipped with titanium connecting rods. The original NSX went through several updates until production ended in 2005.
  • Power comes from a 3.0-liter V6, rated at about 252 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
