This 1992 Acura NSX shows 8,100 miles and it has been displayed twice at America’s Car Museum of Tacoma, Washington, with the most recent showcase being at the “Shinka: A Japanese Automobile Exhibit” from March 2024 to March 2025. Finished in Grand Prix White over black leather upholstery, it is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ forged wheels, a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX was purchased by the owner in 2016 and is now offered in California on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual, spare parts, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Grand Prix White with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.
Staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ five-spoke forged wheels are mounted with Continental tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. A brake fluid flush was performed in March 2025.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, while NSX-branded floor mats line the footwells. Interior appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The climate control unit was replaced in 2022, replacement amplifiers were fitted in March 2025, and the stereo head unit does not work.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 8,100 miles, approximately 3,400 of which were added under current ownership. A portion of the instrument cluster wiring related to the brake lamp failure indicator was repaired in March 2025.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in 2018, and work in March 2025 included changing the oil, flushing the coolant, and replacing the battery.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a replacement five-speed manual transaxle that was installed under warranty in August 2018 by Acura of Seattle, Washington, due to the factory transaxle dropping within the snap ring failure range. The associated invoice is provided in the gallery. The car is equipped with a limited-slip differential.
The owner’s manual, spare parts, and partial service records are included in the sale.
Correspondence from LeMay – America’s Car Museum of Tacoma, Washington, is included in the sale and states that the car was exhibited at the museum from March 2024 to March 2025.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
