This 1991 Acura NSX shows 9k miles and was purchased new by the current owner at Beverly Hills Acura in California. It is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Formula Red over Ivory leather upholstery. Equipment includes staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ forged wheels, a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats and an Alpine amplifier and speakers as well as an alarm system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. This NSX is now offered by the seller on behalf of their father at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a binder of initial sale documents and service records, a car cover, an Acura Car Care Kit, spare keys and parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title in the current owner’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A replacement right-side window regulator was installed in March 2024. The seller notes scratches on the front lip and rock dings on the front spoiler as well as a paint chip on the headlight cover and a misaligned passenger window seal. Staggered-diameter 15″ and 16″ five-spoke forged wheels are mounted with Falken tires showing 2024 date codes. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.
The cabin features Ivory leather-trimmed power-adjustable sport seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, an alarm system, and NSX-branded floor mats in addition to an Alpine amplifier and speakers, which have replaced the factory tire repair kit in the trunk. A replacement cassette stereo was installed in preparation for the sale. The SRS control module was repaired in February 2025, and two holes on the right side of the center console have been filled.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 9k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was carried out in November 2017, the battery was replaced and a fuel injection service was performed in March 2024, and work in February 2025 included changing the oil, adjusting the valves, resealing the VTEC solenoids, and replacing the oil pan gasket and camshaft plugs. The car most recently passed a California emissions inspection in February 2025.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1001877 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range.
