Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX spent time in California before the seller’s acquisition in 2013, and it now shows 66k miles. The car is finished in Berlina Black over Ivory leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 18″ and 19″ TSW wheels, a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a modified stereo system. This NSX is offered with a window sticker, a removed set of wheels, car show awards, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Berlina Black. Details include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, tinted windows, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A ceramic coating is said to have been applied to the body in 2013. Paint chips are noted on the hood and side intakes, and close-up photos of the paintwork and trim are presented in the gallery.

The 18″ and 19″ TSW wheels are mounted with 225/35 front and 275/30 rear Toyo tires with 2004 date codes. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Ivory leather. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a cassette player, aftermarket speakers, and a stereo that was modified with Kenwood Bluetooth connectivity by Willman’s of Garland, Texas. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 13k of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt and valve cover gaskets were replaced in 2016, and the battery was replaced in April 2023.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch kit and release bearing were replaced in July 2019. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1002136 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Niello Motor Car Company of Carmichael, California, and shows factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $61,600. A set of removed wheels will also accompany the car along with manufacturer’s literature and various car show awards.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other reported damage from the first entry in 1996.
