This 1991 Honda NSX is a right-hand-drive, Japanese-market example that reportedly underwent Honda’s Refresh Plan refurbishment in 2003. Finished in red over a red and black interior, it is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Modifications include Recaro TS-G seats, BBS alloy wheels, Aragosta suspension, a MOMO steering wheel, and an aftermarket exhaust system. The car is further equipped with pop-up headlights, automatic climate control, and a Pioneer Carrozzeria infotainment system. Recently acquired by the seller, this NA1 NSX is now offered with a clean Hawaii title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork with side air intakes and an integrated rear wing. This example is finished in red and carries a tag indicating the car went through Honda’s Refresh Plan in 2003. Exterior details include a black roof panel and pillars, pop-up headlights, fog lights, fender-mounted turn signals, and Honda badging.
BBS 17″ and 18″ wheels with gold-finished centers are mounted with 215/45 front and 265/35 rear Nankang Sportnex AR-1 tires that have 2016 production-date codes. The car features four-wheel double-wishbone suspension that has been fitted with Aragosta components. Braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers and slotted rotors. There is a dent in the outer lip of the right-rear wheel.
The right-hand-drive cabin houses a pair of Recaro TS-G bucket seats that are trimmed in red upholstery. Additional appointments include automatic climate control and a Pioneer Carrozzeria infotainment system with navigation as well as air conditioning that was converted to use R134a.
A MOMO steering wheel with a Honda-logo center button frames aftermarket instrumentation consisting of a 300-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline as well as supplementary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 170k kilometers (~106k miles), approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0L V6 features VTEC variable valve timing as well as dual overhead camshafts for each cylinder bank, and a Koyorad aluminum radiator has been fitted. The seller states that the timing belt has been replaced, and the oil was last changed in November 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. An aftermarket exhaust system has been fitted, and Sard catalysts are said to be in place.
