Doug's Take

The original Acura NSX is an iconic sports car, boasting fantastic handling, timeless styling, and a high-revving V6 mounted in the middle for near-perfect balance. This particular NSX is an incredible find, as it’s a basically unmodified example with just 10,700 miles on the odometer! It also touts the desirable 5-speed manual transmission, a removable roof panel, and an Acura Bose sound system. Plus, this NSX is offered with a clean, accident-free Carfax report, further adding to the appeal. If you’re after a time-warp example of the legendary NSX, you’ve just found it!

Highlights

THIS… is a 1996 Acura NSX-T, finished in Berlina Black with a tan interior.

  • This NSX is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission, and its odometer currently displays approximately 10,700 miles. It's reportedly 1 of 49 NSX-Ts built in this color combination for 1996.
  • The attached Carfax history report contains a gap from 2001 to 2014, though it lists no accidents or mileage discrepancies for the given time period.
  • Factory equipment includes 16-inch front and 17-inch rear forged wheels, a limited-slip differential, a removable roof panel, leather upholstery, power-adjustable seats, an Acura Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and more as listed below. Modifications reported by the selling dealer are limited to paint protection film on the hood and fenders.
  • Sold as a Honda in global markets, the first-generation Acura NSX made its debut for 1991 as a user-friendly supercar with Ferrari-like performance and Japanese reliability. Aluminum construction kept weight in check, and the NSX stood out as the first production car equipped with titanium connecting rods. Production of the original NSX ended in 2005.
  • Power comes from a 3.0-liter V6, rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
