Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX was purchased by the current owner in 1998 and has been fitted with a Vortech supercharger in addition to a custom exhaust system, O.Z. Racing wheels, a Dali Racing rear strut brace, Bilstein dampers, HID headlights, a roll bar, racing harnesses, and an aftermarket hood, shifter, carbon-fiber-look interior trim, fuel cap, side skirts, catch cans, sway bars, and front brakes. Powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, it is finished in silver over black and white leather upholstery. The car has a limited-slip differential, a black roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. This NSX shows just over 69k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, partial service records, two keys, a Carfax report, and a clean Iowa title.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in silver with a black roof panel and pillars as well as an aftermarket hood, side skirts, HID headlights, fuel cap, and hood latches. Additional details include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, window tint, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. A portion of the windshield film has delaminated, and paint chips are located on the body. Damage to the left-rear section of the car is listed in a September 2014 entry of the Carfax report, and the left-rear quarter panel and rear bumper cover received bodywork as a result of the damage. An invoice detailing the work performed is included in the gallery.

The 17″ and 18″ O.Z. Racing Superleggera wheels are mounted with staggered-width Yokohama tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with Bilstein dampers, a Dali Racing rear strut brace, and aftermarket sway bars, while braking is handled by slotted rotors in addition to red-finished Racing Brake front calipers.

The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in ivory leather with black inserts and NSX-embroidered headrests, while NSX-branded floor mats line the footwells. Carbon-fiber-look trim accents the cabin, and additional appointments include a roll bar, racing harnesses, seatbelt pads, an aftermarket shifter, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo linked to a six-disc CD changer. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The center stack trim has deformed.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows just over 69k miles, approximately 45k of which were added under current ownership. An airbag warning light is said to remain illuminated.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and has been fitted with a Vortech supercharger, aftermarket catch cans and lines, and a custom exhaust system. An oil change was performed in December 2023.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1001844 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range. Aftermarket aerodynamic components have been fitted on the underside, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.

The window sticker lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $62,600.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned September 2014 damage and lists history in Texas, Oklahoma, and Iowa. Multiple gaps between entries are present in the report.
