Seller Description

This 1997 Acura NSX-T is powered by a 3.2-liter DOHC V6 that was modified in 2010 with a LoveFab Stage 2 turbocharger kit. The engine was rebuilt with forged internals during prior ownership and later refreshed by Bad Cat Engineering of Mount Airy, Maryland, in November 2023. Shifting is via a six-speed manual transaxle with an OS Giken 4.44:1 ratio limited-slip differential and a ScienceofSpeed Sport 500 clutch and flywheel. Finished in Grand Prix White over Onyx leather, the car is equipped with Injector Dynamics 1050cc fuel injectors, a removable body-color roof panel, a Procar Specials Type R-style carbon fiber rear wing and side ducts, Volk CE28 17″ wheels, Tein RA coilover suspension, a Zanardi steering rack, automatic climate control, a ScienceofSpeed Audiophile Stage 2 audio system, and an EMtron SL6 ECU with an AEM CD-5 gauge screen. The seller acquired the car in 2020, and it now shows 59k miles. This NSX-T is now offered with removed stock parts, a car cover, two sets of keys, the owner’s manual, service records, a Carfax report, and a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The aluminum bodywork is finished in Grand Prix White with a body-color removable roof panel. Exterior modifications consist of a Morimoto HID headlight kit, an STMPO Mode 4 front bumper cover and brake cooling ducts, a 2005+ OEM front lip, a Downforce carbon fiber center bumper beam, and a Procar Specials Type R-style rear wing. The Carfax report shows “minor damage” to the front of the car in 2018, and the seller notes that the front bumper cover was replaced with a Mode 4 aftermarket unit during the repair process along with refreshing the front fascia and repairing a dent in the driver’s door. A paint correction and touch-ups were performed in December 2023 followed by application of a ceramic coating.

The 17×8″ and 17×9.5″ Volk CE28 wheels are finished in gloss black and mounted with staggered-width Falken Azenis RT615K tires. Modifications include a Zanardi steering rack and Tein RA coilovers as well as a Dali Racing rear shock tower brace and sway bars. The brakes incorporate Hawk HPS pads and stainless steel lines. The seller notes that the traction control system has been disabled due to the aftermarket ECU.

The power-adjustable sport seats are upholstered in Onyx leather, and matching upholstery extends to the dashboard. A ScienceofSpeed ProFormance Audiophile Stage 2 audio system has been added, which features auxiliary and USB inputs as well as separate tweeters, a subwoofer, and an amplifier in the trunk. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, a carbon fiber center console panel, and an aftermarket shift knob. Cracking is present on the seat upholstery, which has been redyed.

The Momo Tuner steering wheel features red stitching and frames stock instrumentation. An AEM CD-5 gauge screen is mounted in a JDM NSX navigation pod on the dashboard and displays engine details. The six-digit odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.2-liter C32B V6 was fitted with a LoveFab Stage 2 turbocharger kit with a Precision T4 6162 turbocharger in 2010. An engine build in 2018 included installing Timesert stud inserts and Benson 93mm sleeves as well as 10.2:1 compression-ratio CP pistons, Carrillo connecting rods, and ARP studs. In November 2023, the engine was rebuilt by Bad Cat Engineering of Mount Airy, Maryland. Injector Dynamics 1050cc fuel injectors are controlled by an EMtron SL6 ECU, and additional modifications include the following:

  • ScienceofSpeed VVIS delete kit
  • ScienceofSpeed billet main bearing caps
  • ScienceofSpeed oil pump
  • Cometic head gasket
  • WPC-treated valves and pistons
  • ScienceofSpeed turbo drain tank
  • Type R intake manifold cover
  • Cedar Ridge oil pan baffle
  • Billet camshaft plugs
  • Ridge locking timing belt tensioner

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with an OS Giken 4.44:1 ratio limited-slip differential and a ScienceofSpeed Sport 500 clutch and flywheel. Magnaflow mufflers have been installed, and the car is not equipped with catalytic converters.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned 2018 damage entry and lists registration history in Florida, Alabama, Virginia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania title carries an “Antique” brand.
