Seller Description

Doug's Take

The original Acura NSX is one of the most iconic sports cars ever produced by a Japanese manufacturer, thanks to its high-revving mid-mounted V6, exotic styling, and fantastic handling. This particular example is finished in eye-catching Formula Red, and it features the desirable 5-speed manual transmission. It's also mostly unmodified, with aftermarket wheels, tinted windows, and an axle-back exhaust being the only changes from stock. Plus, this NSX-T touts reasonably low mileage – and it's offered with a clean, accident-free Carfax report, for added peace of mind.

Highlights

THIS... is a 1996 Acura NSX-T, finished in Formula Red with a black interior.

  • This NSX-T features the desirable 5-speed manual transmission.
  • The attached Carfax history report contains multiple reporting gaps, though it lists no accidents or mileage discrepancies for the given time period. It also shows that this car has been registered in Southern and Western states since new.
  • Factory equipment includes pop-up headlights, a removeable roof panel, leather upholstery, power-adjustable sport seats, automatic climate control, a Bose sound system, and cruise control.
  • Modifications reported by the selling dealer are limited to aftermarket 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, tinted windows, and an aftermarket axle-back exhaust system.
  • Sold as a Honda in global markets, the first-generation Acura NSX made its debut for 1991 as a user-friendly supercar with Ferrari-like performance and Japanese reliability. Aluminum construction kept weight in check, and the NSX stood out as the first production car equipped with titanium connecting rods. Production of the original NSX ended in 2005.
  • Power comes from a 3.0-liter V6, rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Mid-mounted, it spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
