This 1992 Acura NSX was initially registered in Ontario, Canada, and spent time in Illinois and Washington State before being acquired by the seller’s father in 2002. Finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes aftermarket wheels, a limited-slip differential, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. The seller acquired the car from his father in 2017, and a timing belt service was performed in 2019. This NSX shows 80k kilometers (~50k miles) is now offered with the manufacturer’s literature, the removed factory wheels, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a black roof panel and pillars. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.
TSW 10-spoke wheels are mounted with 205/40 front and 275/30 rear Yokohama S.drive tires. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. The seller reports the suspension has been lowered 1.5″ and the removed springs are included in the sale. The seller also notes the ABS modulator pump does not function.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo linked to a six-disc CD changer. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 298-km/h speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 80k kilometers (~50k miles), approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in 2019, at which point the water pump, thermostat, and spark plugs were also replaced.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1005592 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls inside the snap ring failure range.
The removed factory wheels are mounted with Dunlop tires and are included in the sale along with the removed springs, a license plate mount, service records, and manufacturer’s literature.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Ontario, Illinois, and Washington State.
