Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX is a black-on-black example powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. It is modified with a Garrett Motion 58mm turbocharger, MoTeC stand-alone engine management, an aftermarket fuel system, staggered-diameter Titan 7 wheels, aftermarket gears, Wilwood brakes, TEIN coilover suspension, and a MagnaFlow exhaust system. The car was registered in Nevada and Oklahoma before it was exported to Saudi Arabia in 2019, and it spent time in Belgium before being brought back to the US in 2020. The seller acquired the car in October 2021 and work completed since included retuning the engine management system and replacing the timing belt and head gaskets. This NSX is now offered in Nevada at no reserve with a car cover, recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Berlina Black. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, tinted glass, and dual exhaust outlets.

The staggered-diameter Titan 7 T-55 forged wheels measure 17″ up front and 18″ out back and are mounted with Dunlop Direzza Z III tires measuring 215/40 and 275/35, respectively. TEIN coilovers are fitted along with red-finished Wilwood multi-piston brake calipers over slotted and cross-drilled rotors at each corner.

The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather with sueded inserts. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, a Kenwood touchscreen stereo, and an LCD screen mounted atop the center stack. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number, and a red shift knob is fitted.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. Additional gauges for boost pressure and oil pressure are mounted in a carbon-fiber pod affixed to the A-pillar. The six-digit odometer indicates 88k miles, approximately 400 of which were added under current ownership.

Power comes from a mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 said to have been rebuilt with forged pistons and connecting rods by Norwood Autocraft in Dallas, Texas. Records indicate an engine-out service was completed in late 2021 through early 2022 by Zenith Auto Care in North Las Vegas, Nevada, the process of which included a fuel-injector cleaning, resurfacing the heads, and replacing the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, cylinder head seals, and camshaft seals. The engine management system was then retuned on a dynamometer.

Additional modifications reportedly include the following components:

  • MoTeC stand-alone engine management
  • Garrett Motion 58mm turbocharger
  • TiAL wastegates and blow-off valves
  • Stainless-steel turbocharger piping
  • Liquid-to-air intercooler
  • ARP head and main studs
  • Walbro fuel pumps
  • Braided fuel lines with aluminum fittings
  • Fuel pressure regulator
  • Aftermarket fuel injectors

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle with aftermarket gears, an aftermarket clutch, and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number SR8M-6101575 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range. A MagnaFlow exhaust system is fitted.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Nevada, Oklahoma, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Texas, and Montana.
