This 1996 Acura NSX-T is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Formula Red over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a removable body-color roof panel, pop-up headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Bose sound system. The car was sold on BaT in August 2016 and was acquired by the seller in 2018, and work since that time included a timing belt service, replacing suspension and brake components, and installing a Pride exhaust system. This NSX-T now shows under 121k miles and is offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The NSX featured aluminum bodywork, and this example is finished in Formula Red with a body-color removable roof panel. Features include pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, power-adjustable mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes paint chips on the front end.
Seven-spoke wheels measure 16″ in diameter up front and 17″ out back, and they wear BFGoodrich tires measuring 215/45 and 245/40, respectively. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner. The seller states that the rotors were replaced during their ownership, and the left-rear wheel, driveshaft, and upper and lower control arms were replaced following a pothole strike in 2019. A records associated with the repair is provided in the gallery below. The left-front wheel is scratched, the right-front tire has a bubble in the sidewall, and the power steering system does not work.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, and matching leather covers the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo linked to a six-disc CD changer. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The left window regulator and motor have been replaced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer indicates under 121k miles, approximately 32k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in 2018, and the clutch components and shift linkage assembly were replaced in 2020. The oil was most recently changed in November 2021, and the battery was replaced at the same time.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The exhaust system has been modified with ScienceofSpeed catalytic converters and a Pride cat-back system, and the seller states that the oxygen sensors were also replaced and a Walbro fuel pump has been installed.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida, Illinois, Oregon, California, Ohio, Massachusetts,
