A lowered right height was achieved with front and rear Fortune Auto coilovers and Swift springs that were fitted in October 2021. A brake fluid flush was performed in November 2019. The ABS system is disconnected, and a 2021 service record indicates that the ABS light will illuminate intermittently.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather that extends to the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, LED interior lights, an aftermarket Alpine touchscreen head unit, and a trunk-mounted JL Audio amplifier. A Dali Racing harness bar is fitted behind the seats. The trunk support shocks were replaced in November 2019, and the windshield washer system does not work. A crack is noted in the head unit trim, and the aspirator fan is said to be noisy.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with an 8,000-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer indicates 46k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. Service in November 2019 included replacing the timing belt, water pump, valve cover seals, rear camshaft seals, VTEC seals, oil pressure sending unit, belts, thermostat, coolant hoses, coolant reservoir, and rear main seal. The clutch, clutch cylinders, and brake master cylinder were replaced in January 2021, and an oil change was performed in October 2021.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number “J4A4-1002145” is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range. Comptech headers and exhaust were reportedly installed under previous ownership.
