Seller Description

This 1992 Acura NSX was first titled in Ohio and subsequently relocated to Florida, where it was acquired by the seller in 2010. Finished in red over black leather, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Features include 15″ and 16″ alloy wheels, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, a double-wishbone suspension, pop-up headlamps, automatic climate control, power accessories, cruise control, smartphone connectivity, and a Bose sound system with a remote CD changer. Service performed during current ownership included replacement of the upper transmission case, timing belt, water pump, battery, and tires. This NSX shows 44k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a car cover, a tool kit, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The aluminum body is finished in Formula Red (R-77) with a fixed roof and pillars finished in black. Exterior features include pop-up headlamps, fog lights, a power antenna, an integrated rear spoiler, and polished exhaust finishers. The Carfax report shows an accident resulting in damage to the front end occurred in November 2002, and the seller states that the passenger-side fender was subsequently replaced. Photos showing paint-meter readings are included in the gallery.

Factory 15″ and 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 225/50 rear Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires that were replaced in April 2021. Braking is handled by anti-lock discs equipped with NSX-script calipers, and the car rides on an aluminum double-wishbone suspension.

The power-adjustable seats are trimmed in black leather, and the cockpit features a matching dash, carpeting, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, power accessories, NSX-script floor mats, a smartphone adapter, and a Bose cassette stereo with a remote CD changer. Photos showing wear on the driver’s seat are included in the gallery.

A leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel sits ahead of a 188-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline. The six-digit mechanical odometer has 44k miles, approximately 15k of which have been added during current ownership. The seller notes the SRS light remains illuminated.

The 3.0L DOHC C30A V6 features an aluminum alloy block, titanium connecting rods, and VTEC variable valve timing, and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, water pump, and battery were replaced in 2021 at 44k miles.

Power is directed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The transaxle number J4A4-1005363 is shown in the gallery and falls within snap ring failure range; the upper transmission case and related components were replaced in April 2017 as a preventative measure. Additional photos of the underbody are included in the gallery.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned 2002 accident and lists history and registration in Ohio and Florida.
