Seller Description

This 2002 Acura NSX-T was delivered new to Greenwich Acura of Greenwich, Connecticut and is one of just 246 examples produced for the US market for the model year. It was acquired by the current owner six years ago in New York and now shows just under 10k miles. The car is finished in Spa Yellow over black leather and powered by a mid-mounted 3.2-liter V6 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. Factory equipment includes 17″ forged alloy wheels, a removable targa roof panel, fixed xenon headlights, power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, and cruise control. This NSX-T is now offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with factory literature, a window sticker, a car cover, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.

The NSX received a facelift in 2002 that included fixed xenon headlights and a revised front bumper, side sills, taillights, and rear valance. This car is one of just 50 US-spec examples finished in Spa Yellow Pearl for the model year, and features include a removable targa roof panel, a front lip, and and integrated rear spoiler. Touched-up paint chips on the roof are pointed out in the photo gallery below, which also contains images of the body panel VIN tags.

Factory 17″ forged alloy wheels measure 7″ in width up front and 9″ out back and wear Yokohama S-drive tires that were mounted in 2015. Factory equipment includes double wishbone suspension with aluminum control arms and four-wheel disc brakes with gold-painted calipers. A space-saver spare resides in the front trunk, along with the factory jack and air compressor.

The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Onyx leather, which extends to the door panels, dashboard, and center console. Amenities include NSX-branded floor mats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, and a Bose cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer.

Instrumentation includes a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, as well as gauges for oil pressure, engine temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows just under 10k miles, approximately 4k of which have been added by the current owner.

The 3.2-liter C32B V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 290 horsepower at 7,100-rpm and 224 lb-ft of torque at 5,500-rpm, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The timing belt, water pump, and accessory belts were replaced at 5,300 miles in October 2014 by Acura of Ramsey, New Jersey.

The window sticker shows original delivery to Greenwich Acura of Greenwich, Connecticut, as well as factory colors and options, EPA-rated fuel economy, and a total retail price of $89,745.

The September 2020 Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and displays history in New York and Florida through its most recent entry in September 2020.
