This Acura NSX-T is one of 24 examples produced for the US market in Berlina Black over Onyx leather for the 2001 model year. The original owner is said to have purchased the car in 2004 after an initial lease period, and it was acquired by the seller from the first owner in 2019. Power is provided by a 3.2-liter V6 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and service performed under current ownership included replacement of the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, coolant hoses, and CV boots. Paint protection film was applied in June 2019 and KW coilovers were installed in May 2020. This NSX has 13k miles and is offered in California with two car covers, four keys and two fobs, factory suspension components, service records from current ownership, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The aluminum bodywork is finished in Berlina Black (NH-547) features pop-up headlights, a removable roof panel, and electric side mirrors. A paint correction was performed and Suntek paint protection film was applied to the exterior surfaces in June 2019 by Rstrada Limited of Torrance, California at a cost of $6,850. Photos of body panel VIN tags are provided, as are paint meter readings. The seller notes that the readings, save for those in the door jambs, are indicative of the thickness of both the paint and protection film.
Factory 16″ and 17″ wheels were mounted with 205/45 and 245/40 Yokohama Advan Fleva tires in May 2020. KW Variant 3 adjustable coilovers have been fitted that have lowered the ride height by approximately ½”, and an alignment was also performed at the time of the installation. The stock suspension components are included in the sale.
The cockpit is upholstered in onyx leather with a matching dash, door panels, and carpets, the latter of which are protected by NSX-branded floor mats. Amenities include cruise control, automatic climate control, and a factory Bose sound system with a cassette player and a CD changer.
Instrumentation consists of a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline along with gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer indicates 13k miles, of which approximately 2k have been added by the seller.
The 3.2-liter C32A V6 was factory-rated at 290 horsepower at 7,100 rpm with 224 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm, and drive is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle. A July 2019 service completed by Autonation Acura South Bay of Torrence, California included an oil and filter change, and flushes of the brake and transmission fluids. Work performed by the same facility in March 2020 consisted of replacing the timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, coolant hoses, and CV boots along with completion of an additional oil service.
Two main keys with keyless entry fobs are included in the sale along with the valet key and a red key that is used for programming immobilizer units.
The June 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists emissions testing, registration, and service history in Texas, Montana, and California.
