Seller Description

This 1991 Acura NSX is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over a black leather interior and shows just over 69k miles. Power is provided by a 3.0L VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and modifications include Volk Racing wheels, Bilstein shocks, an ARK Performance exhaust, Comptech headers, a lightweight flywheel, a JDM-style gear set, and more detailed below. The car was acquired by the seller in 2017, and work this year included an oil change and a brake fluid flush. This NSX is now offered with factory literature, an oil analysis report from 2016, a Carfax report, and Connecticut registration.

Production for the NSX in 1991 included just 319 examples finished in Sebring Silver Metallic, all of which featured a black fixed roof. The seller reports that the front bumper has been repainted and several dings are present on the hood around the bottom of the windshield. An accident in June 2005 is listed on the Carfax report, though further details are not provided.

Volk Racing 17″ and 18″ two-piece wheels wear Continental ExtremeContact tires and feature Gunmetal Gray centers, polished lips, and carbon center caps. The car rides lower than stock on Bilstein sport shocks, and ScienceofSpeed rear beam bushings and toe links have also been fitted, along with slotted brake rotors.

The power-adjustable seats are trimmed in black leather, and matching carpets are protected by NSX-branded floor mats. The seller notes that the driver’s seat bolster was recently repaired, and metal trim pieces throughout the interior have been replaced. A crack is reported in the dash, and the headliner is sagging around the rear glass.

Amenities include power side mirrors, automatic climate control, and a Bose AM/FM/cassette stereo. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 4k of which have been added by the seller over the past three years.

The mid-mounted 3.0L C30A V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An ARK performance exhaust and Comptech headers have been added. An oil change and brake fluid flush were recently performed, and the seller notes an oil leak from the rear main seal.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, which reportedly features shorter JDM-style gears, a Comptech Power-Grip II clutch, and a JUN lightweight flywheel. Additional photos of the underbody, brakes, and suspension are viewable in the gallery below, along with results from a 2017 PPI and an oil analysis report from 2016.

The April 2020 Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident in 2005 and displays registration in California, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, and Connecticut from its first entry in 1993 through its most recent update in February 2019.
