This 1994 Acura NSX is finished in red over tan leather and powered by a 3.0-liter DOHC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Modifications consist of staggered RPM wheels, HID headlamps, window tinting, a Pride V2 exhaust system, Bilstein dampers, lowering springs, and more. A new timing belt, water pump, ignition coil, clutch cylinders, engine seals, window regulator, and other items have been installed since 2016. The seller acquired the car in a June 2019 BaT Auction, and has since driven less than 300 of its 85k indicated miles. This NSX is offered with its stock wheels and exhaust system, a tool kit and air compressor, a titanium key, a car cover, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The aluminum body was repainted in red under previous ownership, reportedly to alleviate clear coat failure. Additional paintwork in 2018 included refinishing the right mirror housing as well as touch-ups on the left door. Remaining blemishes are shown up close in the gallery below. Modifications include a Honda S2000 antenna, HID headlights, and ceramic window tint.
Staggered-diameter RPM wheels were installed in 2016 and wear Nitto tires said to have been mounted approximately 3k miles ago. The stock wheels are pictured in the gallery and will accompany the car. Suspension alterations include H&R springs and Bilstein struts up front as well as Zanardi springs out back.
The interior features reupholstered tan leather seats as well as a CD changer and a Bluetooth adapter from GROM Audio. An aftermarket alarm system has also been fitted. The left window regulator was replaced in 2017.
Analog instrumentation includes a 185-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, temperature, and oil pressure. The odometer shows just over 85k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter DOHC V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory-rated at 270 horsepower when new. The timing belt and water pump were changed in July 2016, while work in December 2017 included replacement of an ignition coil, the clutch master and slave cylinders, several hoses, and a number of engine seals. The seller notes corrosion on the radiator brackets.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. A Pride V2 exhaust replaces the standard system, which will convey as part of the sale. Additional underbody photos are viewable in the gallery below.
The March 2020 Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows Florida ownership through the seller’s purchase in summer 2019. A coffee table book, a shop manual, and several service records are included in the sale.
