This 1991 Acura NSX is a black on black example that reportedly was acquired by the selling dealer out of Texas in 2018 and has been modified with Marga Hills–style bodywork. The mid-mounted 3.0L VTEC V6 sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes an aftermarket exhaust system, staggered-diameter Enkei wheels, Koni lowering springs, a Momo steering wheel, and an aftermarket stereo and Apple CarPlay receiver. Service under current ownership is said to have included fluid changes and replacement of the timing belt, water pump, valve-cover gaskets, spark plugs, and battery. This NA1 NSX now shows 98k miles and is offered with a removed pop-up headlight assembly, factory manuals, a Coverking car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The bodywork is finished in black and features an aftermarket front bumper cover with redesigned headlight housings. As a result the pop-up headlights are inoperable, although the selling dealer states that a removed factory headlight assembly with motors will accompany the car. An aftermarket rear valance and side skirts also have been installed. The left fender was reportedly damaged and repaired, and the paintwork and exterior trim are shown in detail in the photo gallery below.
Silver 17″ front and 18″ rear Enkei TFR wheels are mounted with 215/40 Nitto Neo Gen tires up front and 265/35 Nitto NT555 G2 tires at the rear. Koni lowering springs have reportedly been installed.
The cabin features bolstered seats with black leather upholstery that extends to the door inserts. Photos show a split in the seam on the outside bolster of the driver seat. An aftermarket shifter and a double-DIN Sony head unit as well as an in-dash Apple CarPlay receiver have been fitted.
A Momo steering wheel sits ahead of factory instrumentation that includes a 9k-rpm tachometer and a 180-mph speedometer. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 98k miles, approximately 1k of which are said to have been added under current ownership. The selling dealer notes that the SRS light is illuminated in the gauge cluster.
The 3.0-liter C30A V6 features four camshafts and VTEC variable valve timing to produce a factory-rated 270 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 rpm. An aftermarket exhaust system has been installed, and power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer states that one year ago the timing belt, water pump, valve-cover gaskets, spark plugs, and battery were replaced and that the engine and transaxle fluid were changed.
The February 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other issues, with registration and service activity listed in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Texas.
