This 1991 Acura NSX is finished in Berlina Black over an ivory leather interior and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was reportedly placed in storage by the second owner from 2010 until its acquisition by the selling dealer in October 2019. Subsequent mechanical recommissioning included a timing belt service, an oil change, and new fuel and ignition system components. This NSX is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with recent records, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Alabama title.
The car is finished in Berlina Black, and the seller states the front bumper was repainted in the early 2000s following an incident with a curb. A new application of clear coat was also applied to the entire vehicle, though it has begun to fail. Peeling, fade, and wear are shown around the vehicle in gallery close-ups below. The seller notes the pop-up headlights are functional.
Factory double-staggered wheels are pictured up close in the gallery and are mounted with older Kumho and Nexen tires.
Ivory leather upholstery covers the four-way power seats and is contrasted by black leather trim on the dash, steering wheel, shifter, handbrake lever, and door panels. Factory equipment includes cruise control, power-adjustable sideview mirrors, and automatic climate control. A Sony stereo has been fitted in the factory location.
Instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and gauges for water temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. A sticker in the door jamb states the odometer was replaced at 87,795 miles. The current odometer shows 51k miles, a handful of which have been driven by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter C30A V6 features dual overhead camshafts and VTEC variable valve timing, and was rated at 270 horsepower with 210 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Work recently completed by the seller in preparation for the sale included:
-
Timing belt service with tensioner and water pump replacement
-
New valve cover gaskets
-
Cleaned fuel rail and replaced fuel injector O-rings
-
New fuel filter
-
Fuel tank draining
