Seller Description

Hello my name is TJ. Let me first tell you, I really don’t want to post my NSX for sale. I have dreamed of having one ever since a kid and took me 3 years to find the right one. I specifically wanted 3.2L six speed in yellow or white. I also wanted to get one with ALL history records and one that had few owners.  I found this car through a coworker of mine. His friend’s grandfather had it for 11 years and recently passed away. Wife ended up selling the car to the Acura dealer that serviced this car since they sold it to them 11 years ago. I later found the original owner traded the NSX to that dealership and that is how they acquired it. The original owner purchased it new, registered it under LLC and later changed it to his name. I am third owner of the car. I flew to North Carolina to purchase it and also had all records given to me by previous owner. I have records back to when it was new in 1999.

Like I mentioned earlier this car had 2 previous owners. In addition there are 2 accidents that happened with the car which I have all records and photo proof that were passed on to me. One in 1999 which happened in first year of ownership, left quarter panel was dented and wheel scratched. As can be seen from pictures, even paint was not cracked. Attached is the body shop receipt with repair done. Second minor accident was in 2014 where front bumper and lower lip was scratched. Body shop repair record is also attached. As can be seen from receipt, the repair was less than $600. The body shop that did repair did not do good job. The paint was not blended with fenders and when sun is shining you could see color difference of lower lip. I asked service adviser who is very familiar with this car and he told me the previous owner was in his late 70s and did not bother fixing it the remainder of the ownership. 2011 some took the top from car  from parking lot. I have insurance report for that as well.

Overall condition of paint is excellent with exception of lower apron of front bumper which looks tad bit lighter in shade out in sun. No rust (of course aluminum) on car.

When I found out the car is available for sale I contacted the dealership right away, put deposit on car. I spoke with advisor and asked him to replace or repair anything electrical or mechanical that car needs to be like new. I have record of over $8000 worth of work dealership did on car I asked them to do. New water pump/timing belt, valve cover gaskets, pulleys, engine seals and gaskets, rear taillights (had moisture in them) and gaskets, climate control unit, speed sensor, etc. Car has recently had new all 4 oxygen sensors, throttle body, clutch, pads and rotors, new window motors replaced. Since all work mentioned above done by dealer, car has less than 100 miles on it.

Car was inspected by dealer and body shop prior to being offered for sale by dealer.

I have a stack of receipts from previous owners and from me. Also have all 4 keys and owner manuals.

Reason I am selling this car is to help my mother. Two weeks after I purchased the car I found out my mother was diagnosed with lymphoma. Her insurance is only willing to cover 20% of her needed treatment. This is a no brainier of course.

I tried listing this car locally but feel getting national exposure like ebay is better option.  Car title is in my name and registered. I also smoged car so if winning bidder is in California, the smog is good for 90 days. Also I might be able to assist with taxes and shipping.

I am new to ebay as I don't normally sell anything but feel this is better for buyers since there is no fees winning buyer has to pay on top so it might sell quicker.

I listed this car with NO RESERVE at absolutely lowest price I can sell (I am already losing in excess of 10k but I can't keep putting medical bills on credit cards).
