This 1992 Acura NSX is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over black leather and shows 35k miles. The seller acquired the car five years ago and has since added approximately 14k miles. Power is from a 3.0-liter VTEC V6, and a remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission was installed during the seller’s ownership along with a new clutch assembly and throwout bearing. Maintenance performed earlier this year included an oil change, new brake pads and rotors, and a new set Yokohama tires. This NSX is being offered with service records, factory books, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Colorado title in the seller’s name.
Just 117 NSXs were produced in Sebring Silver Metallic for the 1992 model year, and as an early example, this car is equipped with a contrasting black fixed roof. The rear quarter panel was reportedly replaced under previous ownership in response to accident damage. The seller had a new bumper cover installed, and the lower front splitter has been repaired. Scratches are present on the passenger side of the rear bumper.
Factory five-spoke alloy wheels measure 15″ in diameter up front and 16″ out back. A set of Yokohama tires was installed earlier this year and has seen approximately 1,500 miles of use. Replacement brake rotors and Hawk pads were installed about 2,500 miles ago.
Powered seats are upholstered in black leather, and cabin amenities include automatic climate control, power windows and locks, and cruise control. One of the stereo speakers is reportedly faulty and currently disconnected. The cassette player is also partially inoperable.
A MOMO steering wheel is currently fitted, though the original steering wheel is included with the sale as shown in the gallery below. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates just under 35k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and developed 270 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 rpm when new. A new timing belt and water pump were installed at 22k miles in 2014 by Devan Acura of Norwalk, Connecticut. The five-speed manual transaxle, clutch, and throwout bearing were replaced by an independent shop two years later. Invoices from these services can be reviewed in the gallery.
