Seller Description

This Acura NSX is one of 117 examples finished in Sebring Silver Metallic for the 1992 model year and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The car was acquired three years ago by the seller, who has since added approximately 3,000 of its 65k indicated miles as well as replacing part of the transmission case in 2016 and having a timing belt service performed in 2017. Bilstein dampers, new rear tires, and an Exedy clutch and flywheel have also been installed under current ownership, while modifications such as TSW wheels, aftermarket exhaust components, audio upgrades, and an air intake system were added by previous owners. This NSX is offered with recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic with a black roof. The passenger-side fender is believed to have been repainted, and the seller believes that clear coat was reapplied to the entire body under previous ownership. The condition of the finish is shown up close in the gallery below, and a walk-around video is provided by the seller.

Staggered TSW wheels measure 18″ and 19″ in diameter, and two new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires were mounted to the rear in 2018. Bilstein shocks and struts were installed in 2016.

Amenities include power-adjustable seats upholstered in black leather, automatic climate control, electric windows/mirrors/locks, cruise control, and aftermarket audio components such as an Alpine touchscreen stereo, a digital capacitor, and an ARC Audio amplifier. The air conditioning module has been replaced with a refurbished unit from Science of Speed in Phoenix, Arizona.

The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates just under 65k miles, approximately 3,000 of which have been added by the seller over the last three years. The spare wheel is missing from the front trunk.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and developed 270 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 rpm when new. The timing belt was replaced in 2017 at 62k miles along with the valve cover gaskets, and fluids were topped off in 2019 according to the seller. An aftermarket intake and exhaust system have replaced the stock versions.

The five-speed manual transaxle was reportedly fitted with a rear case half bearing a 1994 serial number by the seller and his son following a snap ring failure in 2016. The main portion of the original case is said to have been retained, and an Exedy clutch and flywheel were installed at the same time.

The September 2019 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage from new through July 2019. Drive-by and ride-along videos can be seen below.
