This 1992 Acura NSX is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over black leather and was kept in Illinois from new until being imported to Quebec, Canada in 2006. The selling dealer acquired the car in October 2015 and recently brought it back to the US via Michigan. It now shows just 13,800 miles and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Modifications include later-model wheels, an aftermarket exhaust system, front fog lights, and a MOMO steering wheel. This NSX is now offered with removed factory components, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title.
Just 117 NSXs were produced in Sebring Silver Metallic for the 1992 model year, and as an early example this car is equipped with a contrasting black fixed roof. According to the seller, both rear quarter panels appear to have been repainted in the past, though the recent Carfax report shows no history of accidents or other damage. The aftermarket exhaust system features twin polished tips.
A set of later-model 16″ front and 17″ rear alloy wheels have been added and wear Kumho tires. Front fog lights have also been installed, and the seller reports that the factory wheels are included.
Powered seats are upholstered in black leather, and cabin amenities include a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, power windows/mirrors/locks, and cruise control.
A MOMO steering wheel has been installed, and the original steering wheel also comes with the car. Close-up images of the interior are provided in the gallery.
The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates just over 13,800 miles. Approximately 1k miles have been added by the selling dealer since October 2015.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and developed 270 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 rpm when new. The five-speed manual transaxle is equipped with a factory limited-slip differential. The seller states that the most recent service occurred in August 2017 and included new spark plugs plus cleaning the injection system.
