Seller Description

This 1992 Acura NSX is finished in Grand Prix White over black and was sold new in California, where it reportedly remained with two owners until the seller purchased it in 2017 and moved it to Wisconsin. The car now shows 86,300 miles and is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Enkei wheels and Bilstein shocks have been added along with upgraded brake rotors and pads, a Science of Speed NA2 ABS conversion, Comptech headers and exhaust, Comptech sway bars and rear toe links, a Comptech PowerGrip 2 clutch, and more as described below. A $4k service at 85k miles in March 2017 included a new timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, new accessory belts, and gaskets. This NSX is now offered with its window sticker, a clean Carfax report, factory manuals, service records since 2000, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

Grand Prix White was first available on the NSX in 1992, and just 238 examples were produced in the color for the model year. This example is fitted with Bilstein shocks, Comptech sway bars and rear toe links, and NSX-R front chassis reinforcement bars. As shown in the gallery, the front bumper has multiple blemishes, the top windshield seal has shrunk, and rock chips are present on various forward-facing surfaces, including the side air intakes. The recent Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The 16″ front and 17″ rear Enkei wheels were mounted mounted with new Firestone Firehawk tires in March 2017, sized 225/45 and 255/40. Brake upgrades include a Science of Speed NA2 ABS conversion, Centric rotors and StopTech Street pads up front, and Dali Racing rear slotted rotors.

The interior features black leather upholstery, and wear is present on the driver’s outer bolstering as shown in the gallery.

An iPod interface has been added to the factory stereo, and a SmartTenna allows the power antenna to retract when using the trunk-mounted CD player. Approximately 700 of the 86,300 indicated miles were added by the seller.

The mid-mounted 3.0-liter VTEC V6 developed 270 horsepower at 7,100 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque at 5,300 rpm when new. Per the seller, the original transmission housing was replaced in June 2009 to prevent snap-ring issues. Performance modifications include Comptech headers and exhaust, a Dali air scoop for the intake system, and a Comptech PowerGrip 2 clutch.

In March 2017 at 85,338 miles, a $4,220 service was completed at Driving Ambition in Rancho Cordova, California. The two-page invoice is provided in the gallery and covers a new timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, new valve cover seals, rear cam seals, VTEC seals, oil pressure sending unit seals, new accessory belts, and replacing the front trunk and rear hatch support struts.

The Bilstein struts and Comptech exhaust can be seen above, and additional underside shots are displayed in the gallery.

The original window sticker shows delivery to Tustin Motors in California, as well as a total new price of $63,600. Factory keys and manuals are also included.

According to the seller, the original owner drove this NSX about 32k miles and sold the car to its second owner in October 2002. The Carfax report shows California registration through 2017.
