This 1991 Acura NSX is finished in Sebring Silver Metallic over a black leather interior and shows less than 36k miles. Purchased new by the seller at Sunny King Acura in Birmingham, Alabama, the car has been stored in a climate-controlled garage for the past 28 years when not being driven. Power is provided by a stock 3.0-liter VTEC V6 paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Four new Bridgestone Potenzas were installed on the factory wheels in 2018, and a routine oil service was performed in preparation for the sale. This NSX is now being offered with service records dating back to new, the original window sticker, factory keys, owner’s manual, a clean Carfax, and a clear Alabama title in the seller’s name.
Sebring Silver Metallic was the least common of the three colors offered for the first year of NSX production. Noted imperfections include two nicks on the driver side of the car that are smaller than a dime, and have been touched up and are highlighted in the gallery below. A walk-around video can be viewed here.
This NSX retains its set of factory 15″ diameter front and 16″ rear 5-spoke alloy wheels. A new set of Bridgestone Potenzas were installed in late 2018, and each wheel is depicted in the gallery below.
The black leather interior retains the factory Bose audio system, steering wheel, shift knob, and embroidered floor mats. Additional photos of the leather dash and power-adjustable seats are provided in the gallery below.
The 6-digit odometer currently shows under 36k miles, which have been added by the seller over the past 28 years.
The 3.0-liter C30A V6 is paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle and is reported to remain stock. Oil and fluid changes have been performed annually, though the timing belt has not been replaced. A video of the engine running can be viewed here.
Maintenance records back to new accompany the sale, mostly from the same Acura dealer where the car was sold new.
The original window sticker is included, showing a $63,170 final price with the Appearance & Protection Package. The glove compartment books also come with the car along with an assortment of period literature and a polaroid photo of the seller driving the car off of the showroom floor in 1992.
